Probates
Once a new line of brothers finishes the education process to become official brothers of Sigma Lambda Beta, there is often a showcase known as a Probate or New Member Presentation where the line is revealed to the Greek community and the student population. This showcase is an event that brings together undergraduate and alumni members, Greek-letter organizations, and the friends and family of the new initiates. Strolling
Strolling and stepping are forms of dances that multicultural Greek Letter organization put together and perform. These dances were created by Africans based on a way of showing strength and unity. As the years went by and National Panhellenic Council organizations were starting to form, they took these traditional dances and incorporated them into their organizations. Since the creation of the original Divine 9 African American organizations, this form of dance has since formulated themselves into other identity-based organizations like Sigma Lambda Beta.

At the University of Arizona, there are several events in which strolling and stepping occur. In addition to probates, these performances can be seen in the annual Triple S Show which stand for Stepping, Strolling, and Saluting, and also our very own Purple Rain show which brings together various organizations from even outside the University of Arizona in the form of an exhibition show.
