Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity Incorporated is an identity-based multicultural fraternity that was founded at the University of Iowa in 1986. It is an organization that strives to nurture and further a dynamic value-based environment that utilizes it's historically Latino-based fraternity as a catalyst to better serve the needs and wants of all people through the core pillars of Brotherhood, Scholarship, Community Service, and Cultural Awareness. Although formed with strong ties to the Latino culture, membership within the organization is not exclusive and has gone far beyond this to include men from other varying backgrounds and cultures making it one of the most culturally diverse organizations within Greek Life. This organization is dedicated to the expansion of fairness, opportunity, and equality in the community and the world.
